INOXPA designed the BFI vertical agitator to meet mixing, dissolving and dispersing needs for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries when intense agitation is required. It was designed to offer the highest possible efficiency during processes when lower power consumption and better performance is required.

In contrast to other agitators, the drive is manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel and it is highly recommended for pharmaceutical and food applications.

The BFI vertical agitator enables the use of different propellers, like the marine propeller or the cowler, meaning it is a very versatile agitator suitable for different types of applications. The propeller is removable. It is screw fitted to the shaft and sealed with an O-ring, forming a hygienic connection.

It complies with CFR 177.1550 Regulation 21, CFR 177.2600 Regulation 21, Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, and Regulation (EU) 10/2011.

The PTFE sealing system means it is also suitable for operating in tanks under pressure and/or in a vacuum.
