As part of a plant expansion and modernization project, the customer needed to implement a complete isotonic beverage preparation system that could guarantee the following: 

  • Homogeneous mixing of liquid and solid raw materials
  • Precise control of transfer between process stages
  • Safe storage of the finished beverage
  • Direct integration with the existing filling system
  • High level of automation, repeatability and traceability 


The goal was not only to increase production capacity but also to have a reference facility that could be easily replicated at other plants within the group.

The solution provided by INOXPA consists of an automated system for the preparation, transfer and storage of isotonic beverages, covering the entire process from the incorporation of raw materials to the final dosing into the filling line.

The solution was delivered as a fully integrated system ready for direct connection to the customer’s bottling line.

INOXPA carried out on-site commissioning, including training for operations and maintenance personnel, ensuring fast system adoption and optimal use of all functionalities.

The installation includes:

  • Concentrate preparation unit, with a solid-liquid mixing system using a table blender, designed to ensure the fast and homogeneous incorporation of ingredients.
  • Raw material tank for the controlled feeding of materials for the process.
  • Two 20.000-litre vertical storage tanks, manufactured in AISI 304L stainless steel, fitted with side-entry agitators, CIP cleaning systems and all necessary elements.
  • Complete transfer system, consisting of centrifugal and progressive cavity pumps, automatic single and double seat valves (mixproof) and a flow divert panel that enables the management of the various product and cleaning flows with total safety.
  • Integrated CIP cleaning system that ensures the sanitisation of tanks, lines and valves without disassembly.
  • Process automation using a PLC, with central control from an HMI screen, allowing real-time monitoring, recipe repeatability and the traceability of each batch produced.
