Located in one of the most important mining areas in Africa, the client has several samples of cobalt hydroxide of varying particle sizes, depending on market availability.

They needed to obtain a homogeneous final product from the samples provided and be able to carry out various tests, in their laboratory, before the industrial production phase. The client was seeking equipment to carry out homogeneous mixture tests in the laboratory.

V-type blender with a 125-litre useful capacity, prepared for vacuum work, including vacuum system with liquid ring pump.

The equipment has a filter and a blowing system to clean the filter.

Equipped with load cells for better control of the mixed volumes.

Special features Special features

  • The 'V' shape of the mixing tank favours the mixing of different solid products with different particle sizes.
  • The loading and unloading of the equipment are done fully automatically when being prepared for vacuum.
  • The equipment has a filter to prevent solids from inside getting into the vacuum line and a blowing system to clean the filter.
  • The load cells with which the equipment is provided enable accurate weighing at all times, both when loading and unloading.
